Michael Overbeck (b. 1996) is a photographer and director based in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia.
Raised in this landscape, the mountains shaped both his lifestyle and the way he sees the world. Before photography, Michael spent his time running, biking, and skiing — experiences that built a deep relationship with the outdoors and the communities around it.
He began carrying a camera at thirteen, drawn to documenting the real, fleeting moments that defined his everyday life. That early instinct has grown into a focused creative practice, still rooted in honesty and a lived connection to place.
Today, Michael works with leading outdoor brands and athletes in remote environments across the globe. His approach prioritizes presence over observation, aiming to create images that feel genuine, grounded, and reflective of the landscapes and people who continue to inspire him.
Available for projects worldwide.
